The Grand Canyon Celebrates its 100th Birthday!
We all know that the Grand Canyon has been in existence for more than 100 years. However, 2019 marks the 100th year that the Grand Canyon has been a national park! As you can imagine, the National Park Service is extremely excited about this milestone, and it’s definitely a great reason to celebrate. If you have never traveled to the Grand Canyon, or you simply want to take in its glory again, this would be the year to do it. A Total of Five Eclipses
In 2017, North America marveled at the amazing solar eclipse, and if you missed it, you have the chance to see it again this year! Between now and the end of the year, there will be a total of five eclipses that will be visible from different parts of the globe. As it stands, you can expect a partial solar eclipse on January 6, a total lunar eclipse on January 20, a total solar eclipse on July 2, a partial lunar eclipse on July 16, and an annular solar eclipse on December 26.
